Domaine Denis has a 14 hectare vineyard extending over Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-Les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Chorey-Les-Beaune. They use methods for sustainable viticulture, observing the vines and climate meticulously in order to minimise their use of pesticides. A large section of the vines are naturally grassed to help develop a diverse flora, limit erosion and promote soil aeration.

As well as this, Domaine Denis helps to promote biodiversity across their property, by having 80% of their 14 hectares bordered by forest, hedges or vegetated embankments, whilst maintaining the dry stone walls, the ditches and fruit trees, which shelter and protect the habitats of the surrounding fauna. They also try to save as many natural resources as possible; preserving water resources is at the top of this list and they collect up to 30,000 litres of rainwater every year to use for watering young plants, washing equipment etc. This culture shows their active involvement in respecting the vines and the environment, and as such they are proud to maintain their HVE (High Environmental Value) certification.
